The Chief Information Officer (CIO) of One Brooklyn Health System (OBHS) has ownership of the IT, strategy, vision and leadership in the development and implementation of information technology (IT) across the enterprise that meets OBHS short and long term objectives. CIO will be attuned to future trends in technology and responsible for identifying opportunities for OBHS to leverage technology to promote clinical excellence while acting as an effective steward of resources. The CIO will lead the organization in planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost-beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations.
The CIO should be a transformational, innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative leader with demonstrated ability to effectively inspire, manage, mentor and develop faculty and staff. The CIO will serve as a leader in advancing IT operations, transforming care delivery, patient, clinician, and staff experience across the system on all aspects of change management, program management and strategic development.
Responsible for directing, guiding, coordinating, organizing, planning, controlling and maintaining Rehabilitation services for RNH. Maintains overall accountability for high value services in RNH. Responsible for evaluating operating performance, developing productivity standards, enhancing revenues, recommending budget and controlling costs of the Rehabilitation Department for an efficient and high quality patient care delivery support system.

Responsible for the compliance oversight of all revenue activity related to coding and documentation for physician services. Analyzes denials, rejections and appeals reports from a compliance perspective to identify training opportunities and compliance issues. Works closely with the Compliance Office to facilitate physician reviews, training and assist with documentation of policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Director of Security this position provides administrative/direct supervision to Security Officers and Supervisors. The Psychiatrist, in the Psychiatric Emergency Room, is responsible to provide diagnostic assessment and crisis intervention for patients brought from the community by Emergency Medical Service and referred from various community mental health services. The Psychiatrist must assess the issue of danger to self or others and the need for inpatient hospitalization for psychiatrically ill and substance abusing patients.
In collaboration with the Unit chief, coordinates and manages the clinical activities of the Acute Psychiatric Services.
The Senior Grant Accountant is responsible for monitoring daily performances of all grants, and ensures compliance with policies related to each grant falling under the scope of the position.
Responsible for coordinating, monitoring and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing process. Facilitates all aspects of credentialing, including appointment, reappointment, monitoring and privileging for medical staff and allied health practitioners. Ensures compliance with the accrediting and regulatory agencies (i.e., Joint Commission and NCQA) in regards to credentialing while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws. Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the credentialing and clinical privileging database system and for ensuring the timeliness of credentialing / re-credentialing verification. Works under the supervision of the Medical Staff Services Director. Duties include the gathering, verification and evaluation of confidential healthcare provider credentials, as well as contacting and following up with contracted network facilities to obtain documentation relevant to the credentialing process and data entry of all credentialing information provided by contracted facilities.

The Director of Facilities Management is responsible for the daily operations of the Facilities Management Department, Plant Operations and Bio-Medical Engineering. Acts as liaison between hospital and outside agencies, i.e. Fire Department, Con Edison, Brooklyn Union Gas, Building Department, TJC and State Health Department.

Responsible for all aspects of patient care within the scope of Paramedic. Conducts medical evaluations and provides care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department setting.

The Licensed Practical Nurse performs responsibilities that are supportive and/or restorative under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients, and administers medications and/or treatments upon demonstration of ability in accordance with policy of the Nursing Home.
The Director of Payer Relations is responsible for the centralization of provider enrollment processes, management of staff, building and maintaining payer relationships. Directors are responsible for setting and achieving department strategy, goals and objectives. In addition to establishing efficiency, effectiveness, work flow and systems of the area(s) managed. Including, but not limited to maintaining current information for each provider via the credentialing databases and online systems. Management role is for diverse functions or units.
To assist in the treatment management of patients with cardiopulmonary diseases. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient’s records; select and assemble, check equipment for safety and operate all respiratory care equipment.
