The Field Services Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software, responding to email, chat, or phone queries and offering technical support to customers using computer systems, hardware, and software; well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance. Should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.



  • Accurate documentation of calls and cases.
  • Configuring, installation, and maintenance of software and hardware (such as: PCs, operating systems, system software, software applications, antivirus, printers, and displays)
  • Configuring, installation, maintenance, and diagnostics of LAN/WAN networks (such as: routers, smart switches, and firewalls)
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
  • Handle phone calls and provide remote support.
  • Handling of help desk calls both over the phone and in person.
  • Hanging wireless access points/Wireless Surveys.
  • Maintain and update routine information systems and programs.
  • On-site support of client needs.
  • PC assembly and diagnosis.
  • PC imaging and image deployment.
  • Problem solving methods and resolution.
  • Producing detailed documentation of user requests and resolutions for all calls.
  • Respond quickly to problems and demonstrate skillful problem solving.
  • Service and diagnosis of hardware and software.
  • This individual will handle tickets as they come in, handle calls, and perform both on-site and off-site calls as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and solve computer hardware and printer problems, network connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and solve Windows issues and issues with all used applications.
  • Work with our team members to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction and communication is always maintained.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.




  • Associates degree required with a focus on IT preferred.


  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working in an IT environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Must be familiar with all aspects of computer systems, operations, networking, system analysis and design, and computer hardware.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively. 
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice.
  • Travel expected to all off-site clinics and campuses.
  • Management will give notice prior to implementing any change of the employee's primary work location.
  • Communicates effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Other languages preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Licenses, Certifications:

  • A+ and Microsoft Certifications preferred.

 Physical Demands:

  • Involves standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, lifting and bending.
  • May include some repetitive motions.
